Using the app

How to use Astrivel, step by step.

Try a browser-local demo with synthetic data in about five minutes. No real account, LMS connection, or email verification is provided.

Getting set up

Four short steps. You can come back to any of them later.

  1. 1

    Start a local demo

Enter a made-up name and email and use the displayed demo code. No real account or verification email is created.

  2. 2

    Load sample courses

Use a simulated course import with synthetic assignments, or enter made-up coursework manually. No school platform is accessed.

  3. 3

    Review sample work

Review sample courses, assignments and due dates. Edit a sample task or add a made-up prompt.

  4. 4

    Tell us how you work

When you focus best, for how long, and how many hours you have this week. You can change this any time.

Each recovery cycle

The bar at the top of the app shows which step you’re on.

  1. Assess

Read the whole picture: what’s due, how much time you have, and what doesn’t fit.

    Once a week
  2. Next action

Get one thing to do now, with why it was picked. Press Start this action.

    Every cycle
  3. Intervene

Stuck? Press I’m stuck, say what’s in the way, and try one small thing.

    Only if you need it
  4. Outcome

Say how far you got. Not finishing is useful too: the plan uses it.

    After each action
  5. Reassess

See what changed in your plan and why.

    After each outcome
  6. Complete

See what you got done, then start the next cycle.

    End of a cycle

Where to find things

The menu on the left (at the bottom on a phone).

  • OverviewWhere you stand this week, and your next best action.
  • Recovery PathEverything in order: stabilize first, then complete, then protect.
  • OutcomesWhat you’ve done, what helped, and what the plan learned.
  • CalendarYour work placed around classes and shifts. Tap a block to move or skip it.
  • Profile & SettingsYour details, sync, work preferences, display and log out.

Good to know

Small things that make it easier.

  • You can pause the timer and come back. The sidebar shows how much time is left.
  • Press I’m stuck any time. You’ll never be sent back to the same plan.
  • Tap a work block on the Calendar to move it to another day, or skip it today.
  • Change text size, dark mode or high contrast in Profile & Settings, under Display.

Reading the labels

Every recommendation says where it comes from.

From a course

In this demo, facts come from synthetic sample data or details you enter.

Our estimate

Astrivel worked it out, or you entered it. It might be off.
